An independent consultant can often help in a Best Value Review by providing a challenge, offering comparative information or through effective project management.
A fundamental part of a Best Value Review is to challenge the existing arrangements, and often this challenge can be best provided by an experienced critical friend such as an 'AWICS' consultant. However, we can provide more assistance with a Business or Best Value Review than external challenge! This includes project managing a Business or Best Value Review, providing financial or other expertise, or undertaking the complete Business review from an independent standpoint. We have recently extended our work on Best Value to include work on the Comprehensive Performance Assessment including training courses and consultancy.
